The competition is open to amateur, professional and semi professional acts.
Only one finalist is allowed from each nominated venue.
The competition is open to previous entrants and previous winners.
There will be 3 rounds of singing. The singers must have 3 songs available to sing. Depending on numbers however they may only get the chance to sing one song. If, after the first song there is a lack of time, only the top 10 singers will be asked back to round 2.
The 3rd & final round will consist of the top scoring singers only. (Usually the top4)
If the singers wish to bring their own backing track it must be on a CD disc or flash pen only. The organisers take no responsibility should these items not work. In this unlikely event the singer must sing a song from the operators songbook.

The judges decision on the evening is final.
The final maybe professionally filmed and if done so, a short promotional film will be published on the Joseph Holt website and social media sites.

Any entrant not wishing to be filmed, must inform the organisers on the night, failure to do so will be taken as consenting to filming.
