Ben Thompson is a very talented young male singer and former Coronation Street actor. Acting may have put Ben in the public eye but singing is where his heart is.
Ben has performed all over the UK for weddings and parties to holiday camps, bars and clubs. With a fantastic mix of music from dance to swing and acoustic sets he always provides a great night of music for everyone.
As you can see below his setlist is varied, however, he can provide Brit Pop Mad-Chester set if requested which is really popular in the North West of the UK where he hails from.
Ben Thompson has been performing professionally for over a decade, with extensive experience as a solo performer and also in multiple bands.
In 2006, at the age of fourteen, he won the part of Ryan Connor in Coronation Street, playing the son of legendary barmaid Michelle Connor (played by actress and singer Kym Marsh) for four years before leaving the show to pursue a full-time career in music.
Ben is a musician at heart and a multi-instrumentalist. He can cover a broad, eclectic mix of music to suit any venue and occasion ranging from 50’s & 60’s Rock ‘n’ Roll, Soul, Swing, Contemporary Pop, Rock, and also offers a purely acoustic setlist, as well as a ‘Britpop’ setlist for more specific needs.
