Starting as a ‘stand-up’ comedienne in the late 80’s, mainly for fun, Crissy Rock soon realised that she had a talent for making people laugh, a talent that was also spotted by BOB MONKHOUSE, when Crissy Rock appeared nation-wide on the BBC Television show “Bob Says Opportunity Knocks”.
Although Crissy Rock was given the highest marks for any comedy act on the series, she still failed to win her heat, however Bob made the following quote; “This girl has something that is a gift to comics – deep inside Crissy has the sheer instinctive art of timing.
