About The Act

Mixtape – Party Function Band are  dedicated to bringing you an ultimate mix of live music spanning all decades from the 60’s to the present day. Their show is a blend of Pop, Rock and Soul, guaranteed to keep your guests on the dance floor all night long!

Formed in 2009 the band’s first outing was opening for Bucks Fizz on their comeback theatre tour. Since then they have performed all over the UK and are one of the country’s leading and sought after bands performing at festivals, corporate events weddings and everything in-between.

In 2011 they were asked to perform on a second tour with Bucks Fizz which ended with a sellout show at the prestigious London Palladium. Collectively, they have shared the stage with some of the biggest stars of the music world including Lee Mead, Nina Simone, Van Morrison, Gary Moore, Midge Urge, Jimmy Sommerville, T’Pau, Dr And The Medics, ABC, Alexander O’Neal, Johnny Hates Jazz, Billy Ocean, Nick Hayward, Steve Augeri, Hazel O’Connor, Go West, Heaven 17, 10CC and of course Bucks Fizz!
