Trish Watt and Krystal Cooper formed THE PURPLETONES in 2014 after having admired each others talents for quite some time, appearing on the same bill at various venues.
Their combined experience of live performance is vast and varied and has taken them the length and breadth of the UK and beyond.
The timing was perfect for them to start their collaboration, as they have graced many a stage doing enviable justice to other people’s compositions but now, with the forthcoming release of ‘Escaping Our Souls’, their debut album, they reveal their own incredible song-writing skills and production abilities.
These ‘no holds barred’ tracks journey through cross genre styles with such ease, from the take off of track one to the final track landing. Live, this is one tour de force. This duo define ‘discovered’.
